To enhance your online security and protect the use of our services, we have established certain security requirements regarding the strength of the password for the central login. Below is a list of all the hard requirements.
-
Minimum of 1 lower case character: a-z
-
Minimum of 1 upper case character: A-Z
-
Minimum of 1 digit: 0-9
-
Minimum of 1 symbol: !"#$%&'()*+,-./:;<=>?@[]^_`{|}~
We also check the safety of your password in two other ways. The first method utilizes an external database (HaveIBeenPwned). It checks whether your password has been leaked in previous data breaches at other companies. If your password was leaked before we can't allow it to be used within Proxeuse again. Secondly we calculate how many computer power is required to brute-force your password. You'll need to score above a particular rate in order for the system to allow your password.
Privacy: we never send your password to outside services. In the case of the HaveIBeenPwned, we query the security status of your password by means of a specific computer code (called a hash).
